Rob is a founding member of TBLS and competed in the Texas Transactional Skills Program (formerly LawMeet) from 2012 - 2014. As Chairman of the Board of Advisors, Rob advises student leadership on a variety of matters, including programming, fundraising and administration. Rob serves as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas School of Law where he teaches a transactional skills course entitled “Doing Deals” and has served as a coach to the TTSP competition teams since 2015. Rob is a senior associate at Kirkland & Ellis in Houston, TX with a practice focused primarily on private equity M&A transactions

Tom Hillebrand is a member of the Board of Advisors and focuses on advising students in a variety of matters including fundraising, professional development, programming, and administration. Tom is a senior associate at Latham & Watkins in Houston, TX with a practice focused on the energy and infrastructure space including upstream and midstream acquisitions and divestitures as well as related commercial transactions. Tom currently serves on the Houston Young Alumni Steering Committee for UT Law.

Leslie is a founding member of TBLS, served as President and competed in the Texas Transactional Skills Program (formerly LawMeet) from 2012-2015. As a member of the Board of Advisors, Leslie assists student leadership in a variety of matters including the Texas Transactional Skills Program, professional development, and administration and has served as a coach to the TTSP competition teams since 2015. Leslie is the Chief Corporate Counsel for BMC Software, Inc., a global software company where she provides primary legal support for Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Corporate Development (M&A), Executive Compensation, Investor Relations and Federal Operations. Prior to joining BMC, Leslie was a corporate associate in the Houston offices of Vinson & Elkins LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP focused on Private Equity/M&A. Leslie currently serves on the Houston Young Alumni Steering Committee for UT Law.

Cesar is a former member of TBLS and served as Director of Finance from 2014-2015. As a member of the Board of Advisors, Cesar advises student leadership on a variety of matters including alumni relations, programming and administration and has served as a coach to the TTSP competition teams since 2016. Cesar is an associate at Vinson & Elkins in Houston and is a member of V&E’s worldwide Energy Transactions and Projects practice group. His principal areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, project development and project financings.

Samuel is an associate in the public finance section in the Houston office of Coats Rose with a practice focused on creation of special purpose districts, statutory and regulatory interpretation, governmental relations, and administration of special districts.
