Samuel graduated in 2018 from The Wharton School, at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. While an undergraduate, Samuel was a member of Penn’s Lightweight rowing team and Wharton’s Undergraduate Energy Group. Samuel worked for Marriott International where he oversaw the financial performance of convention-oriented hotels and Luxury properties in Washington, D.C., New York City, and Florida. During that time, he facilitated the conversion of a $375m hotel into a franchise property while navigating the uncertainties in the NYC market post-COVID. Samuel managed a team of finance associates and executed profit-generating initiatives despite tight labor conditions in these markets.
